Round Ratings have arrived in Upsi!

We’re excited to announce a long-awaited update: Round Ratings are now live in Upsi! Until now, player ratings were based on individual rounds but individual round ratings weren’t available. That changes now. With round-level ratings, you can now see how each game stacks up. And not only as a number, but with meaningful context.

Understand Performance at a Glance

For players with existing rating every rated round now includes a star score (1–5). As performances differ for different skill levels, the stars also adapt with the player's skill level:

• 1 star = Below expectations but great data for learning

• 3 stars = Played at your current level

• 5 stars = Outstanding performance, well above your level

This lets you quickly reflect on your own game and celebrate your friends’ triumphs.

💡 Now you can instantly spot when a friend crushed a course with a 5-star round on their level.

Community-Level Round Badges

Each round also receives a badge based on how it ranks across the entire Upsi community. It’s a whole new way to measure the performance on an individual round.

Transparency in Player Ratings

Round ratings are now shown in your player rating breakdown—helping you understand why some rounds count and others don’t (like statistical outliers).

Unlock Full Round Rating Insights with Upsi Black

To view round ratings across players and rounds, you’ll need Upsi Black. This includes:

• Full rating visibility in game history

• Friends' round ratings

• Star score performance comparisons
